I am writing to let you know that unfortunately we have decided to cancel the Spring 2020 Jr Vikes Baseball & Softball season. This was done after much thought and discussion, ultimately our first responsibility is to the safety of our players and their families. We want to thank everyone for your support and let you know that both programs will be back and ready to go for the Spring 2021 Season.
While there was Interest in holding some type of Baseball & Softball season over the summer we felt that many aspects of baseball or softball activity would be problematic. Additionally after we reviewed the full text of Governors executive order, see the relevant detail below, it would be hard to mitigate enough of the risks associated with Covid-19 to proceed with traditional baseball/softball play.
We are looking into holding a socially distanced event for the players that registered for the 2020 season later this summer. We will provide further details if & when that comes to fruition.
Here are the Financial Options for Spring 2020 Registration Fee’s:
There are three options for the registration fee’s they are: Credit, Donation, Refund.
Credit -- for any future LTAA program.
Donation -- made to the North Hunterdon Food Pantry (based in Lebanon Township).
This option allows you to help local families in need.
Refund -- Everyone is able to receive a Full Refund of 100% of the registration fee that they paid for the Spring Season.

Text of the relevant Governors executive order.
• Effective June 22, 2020, sporting activities, including organized sporting activities, are permitted in outdoor settings only, provided that they do not involve person-to-person contact or routinely entail individuals interacting within six feet of one another. Any sporting activities that involve person-to-person contact or individuals routinely interacting in close proximity (within six feet of one another) will remain prohibited in any setting.
