2021 Virtual Winter - Sample Activities

Intro Drills:
- Single Target: Players must dribble with their head up so they can hit targets that appear on the screen with their off hand.
- Dribble Height: Progression through low, middle, and high dribbles with both hands.
- Lateral Quickness: Defensive slide from side to side, knocking down as many virtual cones as they can in the allotted time.
- 2 Player Reaction Battle: Hit targets as fast as you can while competing against teammates.
- Jr. NBA Training Videos: Rookie Level (Dribbling, Shooting, Passing, Rebounding)
Intermediate Drills:
- 300 Combo Dribble: Rotate through mid, low, in and out, and then v-dribbles.
- Agility Hurdles: Players jump over virtual hurdles while shuffling side to side.
- Dribble Math/Spelling: Another drill that keeps kids’ heads up by having them hit the appropriate choice to complete math and/or spelling problems while dribbling.
- Crossover Challenge: Similar to single target above, with bonus points for cross-over dribbles when blue targets appear on the screen.

- Jr. NBA Training Videos: Starter Level (Footwork & Conditioning, Offense, Defense)
More Advanced Drills (There Are Many More):
- Two Ball Burnout: Rotate between dribbling two balls in sync and then in an alternating fashion.
- Cross-Training: Get your body in the window on the screen whether you have to jump, get into a plank pose, squat, etc.
- Cone Dribble Battle: Compete against other teammates while moving a ball over a virtual cone.
- 600 Combo Dribble: Extended version of the 300 Combo drill above.
- Jr. NBA Training Videos: All Star/MVP Level (Footwork & Conditioning, Offensive, Defensive Strategy)
